When we look at 2025, we see many things achieved by the SALTO SEE Contact Points Network, from capacity-building regional training and wide regional and local outreach by CPs to a milestone anniversary.
The year opened with the successful “Prepare to Succeed” Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building training for youth organisations, boosting project-design skills across the region. Following this, Contact Points continued organising info sessions, workshops, consultations and mentorships to support youth, NGOs and institutions in applying to Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps throughout the year.
In spring, the CP Network met in Albania for a strategic gathering of all Contact Points and reflections on two decades of impact. 2025 also marked the 20-year anniversary of the Contact Points’ and 25 years of SALTO SEE role in connecting young people and organisations with European opportunities. There we began shaping a strategic vision for the coming years. This was also a place where the Contact Points and Information Centers from the Mediterranean and Caucasus regions came together, resulting in networking and the mutual exchange of practices.
Across summer and autumn, CPs ran broad outreach campaigns, from mentoring and Erasmus Days activities in Albania and info sessions in Kosovo*, to youth workshops and youth policy engagement in Montenegro, and promotional training and new communication campaigns in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
As the year closes, Contact Points continue to provide info sessions, promotional work, support to current and new ESC Quality Label holder and preparatory activities for 2026, ensuring organisations and young people from the region stay informed about all the novelties in both Programmes.
We proudly celebrate our 20 years of impact and thank organisations, youth workers, young people all partners and participants who have been part of this journey.
