Volunteering has long been recognized as a valuable activity in various sectors, from education and youth to sports. However, methods for measuring its impact have often been insufficient. To address this gap, Beyond Barriers Association, in collaboration with the Center for European Volunteering (CEV) in Belgium and partners from Albania, the UK, Spain, and Croatia, has launched an innovative platform called “Volunteering Impact.”
The “Volunteering Impact” platform aims to help organizations and volunteers measure and enhance the effectiveness of their work across Europe and neighboring regions. It is part of the VCALC project, which focuses on building organizational capacity to work transnationally, addressing shared priorities for stakeholders involved in volunteer-driven initiatives.
The platform will offer comprehensive tools for impact measurement, training, and policy development, allowing organizations to implement new strategies and improve volunteer management in various fields.
As part of the project, a series of online training sessions will be held for volunteer managers. These sessions will guide them on how to utilize the platform effectively while also fostering discussions on the broader impact of volunteering.
