SALTO SEE Contact Points in the Western Balkans continue their summer support for the organisations and young people to join the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ youth with online promotion, mentoring, consultations, booklet production, and workshops.
In Albania, online promotion led by ESC volunteers goes on through summer, alongside mentoring for ESC accredited organisations. In Kosovo*, proposed activities include online ESC info‑sessions and visits to youth centres to introduce volunteering to both young people and staff. In Montenegro, an online meeting with one Municipality is planned, support is being provided for an event in October, and the Contact Point team will participate in the 7th Montenegrin Scout Jamboree by facilitating workshops on volunteering, EU youth programmes and youth work. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, contact with potential ESC beneficiaries continues while a Youth Centre booklet featuring a section on the Contact Point and ESC is being prepared. In Serbia, info‑sessions are underway, preparations for a Quality Label workshop are in progress, and promotion continues throughout the summer months.
