Upcoming December activities by the Contact Points in the Western Balkans

Contact Points (CP) in the Western Balkans finish the year with support to youth organisations and institutions through preparatory work, information sessions, and social media promotion of the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ Youth programmes.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, two CPs will maintain an intensive promotion, while focusing on preparatory communication efforts to lay the groundwork for structured stakeholder engagement. Activities will include sending official introductory letters about new CP (LDA Mostar) to institutions, municipalities, youth councils, universities, and key CSOs, as well as internal coordination between two CPs to finalize stakeholder mapping, presentation materials, and planning for joint and separate institutional meetings. Their December agenda also includes the preparation and implementation of the ESC QL workshop, a meeting on two ESC activities in Sarajevo, monitoring of QL holders, and social media promotion. In Albania, CP representatives will participate in an info session and training on Erasmus+ CBY and the sports call based on the 2026 Erasmus+ programme guide. In Serbia, Contact Point will hold an online meeting with QL holders, continue promoting the ESC on social media, and celebrate International Volunteering Day with a Tea Party. In Kosovo*, activities on 5 December will mark International Volunteer Day with an info session for organizations co-hosted with Europe House, alongside an Erasmus+ info session for young people in Gjakova, with two additional sessions to be scheduled later in the month.
