Twenty years. Six countries. Countless stories. And the next chapter could be yours.
For two decades, the SALTO SEE Contact Point network has been connecting the Western Balkans with Europe. Young people have volunteered, studied and trained abroad. Organisations have grown. Communities have changed. Behind every project is a person who decided to take the first step, and behind every success story is a Contact Point that helped make it possible.
Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps are European Union programmes that help young people volunteer, study, train or work abroad. Six Contact Points across the Western Balkans are here to help you take the first step, whether you are a young person looking for your first international experience, an organisation ready for your first international project, or an institution committed to youth development.
In Montenegro, ADP-Zid is your bridge to Erasmus+ and ESC, with more than fifteen years of experience supporting young people and organisations. Their message to anyone who is waiting for the right moment is direct: do not wait for better times. Create them.
In Albania, Beyond Barriers is here to help you take the first step, no matter your background. They believe that Europe belongs to everyone, including you. Their work begins with a first idea and continues until a project is successfully realised, with support at every stage.
In Kosovo, GAIA connects young people with opportunities that change lives. Their message is simple: your story can build bridges and peace. Solidarity is something we build together, one experience at a time.
The Youth Center John Paul II in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been opening doors to Europe for eighteen years. One of those doors is waiting for you. For many young people, an ESC adventure starts with a single message, and the Centre is there to answer it.
LDA Mostar, the newest member of the network, is ready to help you grow. Building bridges is what they do, and they are ready to build yours. Their message is clear: your true potential lives beyond what is familiar.
From Šabac, Serbia, Udruženje Svetlost is here to support you. Their work reaches young people across the country, from big cities to small villages. Their message is one of light and solidarity: bring light to your community, starting with yourself.
Whether you are a young person dreaming of going abroad, an organisation ready for your first international project, or an institution committed to youth development, there is a place for you in this story. The next chapter starts with a single step and the Contact Points of the SALTO SEE network are here to help you take it.
